CORDEM is a Private Charitable Association founded in Monterrey, Nuevo León, in 1999, dedicated to supporting the personal and professional development of women in vulnerable situations through educational scholarships and psycho-emotional support, providing them with the tools to create new opportunities and achieve greater independence.
The project focused on the conceptualization and development of a visual identity capable of representing the essence of CORDEM’s mission, using the metamorphosis of the butterfly as its central creative concept.
This transformation became a metaphor for the journey women experience within the organization: growing, learning, evolving, and ultimately spreading their own wings. The different stages of the butterfly’s metamorphosis were translated into a system of graphic elements representing development, education, and personal growth.
The identity brings together concepts such as education, support, and transformation, combining organic forms with a dynamic color palette to create a visual language that feels approachable, optimistic, and full of life.
Rather than simply representing an educational organization, the identity seeks to communicate the deeper purpose behind CORDEM: supporting transformative journeys that empower each woman to discover her potential and build her own future.
